To ensure the Project Quality functions, processes and records are aligned to the Sitzler Management System requirements and are maintained in accordance with independent certification requirements, relevant legislation, regulatory and client specific requirements.

Key Attributes and Skills:

  • Nationally Recognised Construction Induction
  • Internal Auditor Competency
  • Sound knowledge of: Management System Certification requirements, WHS legislation, Internal Auditing processes 
  • Complete understanding of: Management System Processes, Document control functions, processes and implementation, Quality assurance principles, methodologies and their application, ISO 9001 standard and other relevant quality standards, Construction methods and quality requirements
  • Excellent organisation and planning skills
  • High level verbal and written communication skills
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in the construction industry
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Demonstrated planning skills and accurate and detailed record keeping
  • High level of Microsoft Office computer literacy
  • Comprehensive experience with Quality control software, tracking and records control
  • Comprehensive experience with document control
  • Highly motivated, proactive with excellent problem solving, communication, record keeping, report writing skillset
  • Drivers Licence

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain the Project Quality Management Plan in line with business processes and in consultation with the Project Construction Manager and SEQ Manager
  • Ensure that the project team are made aware of the Quality Management Plan requirements related to their scope of work and monitor their compliance 
  • Plan and implement quality improvement activities
  • Establish Supplier/Subcontractor quality requirements and provide to the Construction Manager and Commercial Manager for inclusion in subcontract documents
  • Ensure the quality control functions of project documentation is in line with business procedures and standards including peer review / formatting and securing of documentation prior to release
  • Ensure and maintain high quality production and maintenance of project documentation and records 
  • Prepare and maintain the Project Audit Schedule in consultation with the SEQ Manager
  • Conduct internal audits to monitor and measure the project’s conformance with internal procedures, processes and plans, the client requirements and the business certification standards
