Responsible for managing the takeover and handover of projects including
documentation, maintenance manuals, asset and other registers as required,

ensuring achievement of the desired outcome in a timely, risk controlled and
cost effective manner, including appropriate reporting.

Key Attributes and Skills:

  • Recognised Certificate or Diploma and/or minimum of 3 years in the construction industry within an Administration role
  • Experience on Defence projects is highly regarded
  • Understanding of construction materials and methods
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills, ability to write clearly and concisely
  • Effectively manage time and resources with the ability to perform under pressure and to tight deadlines
  • Intermediate to advanced computer literacy with Microsoft Office suite, document management software and defence estate management software
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Nationally Recognised Construction Induction
  • Drivers Licence
  • Ability to be able to obtain a Defence Common Access Card

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the records for warranties, guarantees, test reports, certifications and asbuilts
  • Manage builders and subcontractors warranty provisions and ensure they are submitted within the stated time period, in the correct form and are fully compliant 
  • Undertake and coordinate the compilation and submission of all as built drawings, operation and maintenance manuals and handover documentation ensuring compliance with client and defence requirements 
  • Coordinate witness testing and commissioning required by the contract
  • Ensure records are kept and included in the handover documentation
  • Ensure all records are in accordance with the client and contract requirements
  • Conduct filing and archiving of project records
  • Manage, maintain and update Asset registers as required and specified by the client
  • Manage, coordinate and educate suppliers and subcontractors to ensure their submission obligations under the head contract and subcontract are met
  • Programme critical milestone dates for deliverables, ensuring inclusion in master construction programme
