AIR7000 Ph1B Piloted Aerial System (RPAS) includes the delivery of facilities and infrastructure to support the acquisition of up to six Northrup Grumman MQ-4C Tritons. The scope of works will be delivered at RAAF base Tindal (NT), including but not limited to maintenance hangars, aircraft aprons, warehousing, high power engine run up area, training support facilities and infrastructure connections to suit.

Jason brings over 35 years of experience in working in Defence facilities and infrastructure within Australia and abroad. With a background spanning military service including operational deployments, tier one design management and construction delivery. His expertise lies in delivery of major infrastructure projects from strategy planning, design through to delivery.
As the Defence Sector Lead, Jason is responsible for oversight of Sitzler’s Defence portfolio and more broadly key government client engagement.
Jason is a Certified Practicing Engineer (CPEng) and holds a Master of Engineering Science and Global Executive MBA (Defence and Space).
Michael Zampa, IBE Operations Manager
Michael oversees Sitzler’s strategic engagement with Indigenous Business Enterprises, driving initiatives that increase Indigenous employment opportunities and foster meaningful partnerships within the Indigenous business supply chain across all operations.
With an Bachelor of Construction Management (Honours) degree and over 20 years of experience in the Northern Territory construction industry, Michael is a seasoned professional in end-to-end project delivery. His expertise spans contract management, resource allocation, and client relations, ensuring projects are delivered efficiently and to the highest standards.
Michael is deeply committed to working with Indigenous partners to create lasting social and economic benefits. His extensive experience in delivering projects in remote regions of the Northern Territory has allowed him to build trust and strong relationships with Indigenous communities. By collaborating closely with these communities, Michael ensures that Sitzler’s projects not only meet operational goals but also contribute to community development, skills training, and economic empowerment.
Jo Norton, People & Performance Lead
Jo Norton joined Sitzler in September 2024 as the People and Performance Lead. She brings nearly 20 years of senior executive experience across the public and private sectors, including utilities, public health, and retail. Jo holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) and has a proven track record in leading human resources, industrial relations, and strategy and reform functions.
Passionate about fostering positive workplace culture, Jo specialises in capability building, leadership development, and driving large-scale transformation initiatives. Having called the Northern Territory home for almost 30 years, Jo is deeply connected to the region. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, as well as cooking, cycling, and camping.
Rod Jeffrey, Civil Lead
Rod brings over 40 years of distinguished experience in civil infrastructure, with a career marked by the successful delivery of high-profile projects across Australia and internationally. He holds a Bachelor of Business, a Bachelor of Engineering, and a Master of Business Administration, showcasing his strong foundation in both technical and commercial disciplines.
Over the past 15+ years, Rod has managed major infrastructure projects throughout Australia, demonstrating exceptional leadership and expertise in delivering complex initiatives. His experience spans a diverse range of sectors, including roads, ports, rail, airports, and sustainable energy projects.
Since joining Sitzler in 2023, Rod has been leveraging his commercial and engineering knowledge to guide large-scale projects from the initial bid phases through to successful completion. His strategic vision, technical acumen, and commitment to excellence ensure that every project he oversees delivers outstanding outcomes for clients and stakeholders.
Adrian Hermens, Chief Financial Officer
Adrian Hermens brings +25 years of experience in the engineering, construction including facilities and asset management with a background spanning financial reporting, strategic planning, M&A, restructuring, commercial negotiations, governance and business law.
In his role as Chief Financial Officer, he is responsible for strategic leadership, finance and administration, information technology as well plant & logistics. Adrian has held executive and senior finance positions in various ASX and UK listed companies across the engineering, construction, gaming, FMCG and retail sectors. He is a Fellow CPA and holds Master degrees in Business Law (Syd) and Applied Finance (Macq), as well as a degree in Economics (Macq).
Adrian is committed to driving governance, strategic growth, financial discipline and innovation through data led decision making.
Michael Sitzler, Director
Michael was appointed Director of Sitzler in 1991. He brings significant directorship experience to the company and has a strong focus on property management and development as well as environmental, commercial and retail management. Michael has led the strategy for the sustainable growth of Sitzler’s construction interests.

Steve was appointed Managing Director in 1988. Under Steve’s leadership Sitzler has transitioned from a respected local Northern Territory company, to a trusted national construction specialist. Steve has driven a program of cultural and technical change to create a high level of trust and respect in Sitzler’s approach to managing design, delivery and project completion.
