Let Us Build Queensland Campaign
Sitzler is a proud member of Australian Owned Contractors (AOC), an association formed to advocate for Australian owned engineering and construction companies to have more opportunities to deliver major public infrastructure projects across the country. On Sunday, AOC launched the ‘Let Us Build Queensland’ campaign, calling on Queensland politicians to commit to ensuring a greater share of construction contracts are awarded to home-grown Australian companies, not foreign owned construction giants. In the next 6 weeks, AOC TV and online ads will target five marginal seats ahead of the State election and our online petition is a big part of this.
We want to mobilise Queenslanders to sign the petition and help pressure politicians to make this issue part of their election agenda. Please show your support by signing the petition at https://letusbuild.com.au/ and follow the campaign on Facebook (www.facebook.com/australianownedcontractors) to encourage the Queensland government to think more strategically about how they procure major public infrastructure projects.
