The works are located within HMAS Stirling, the Royal Australian Navy’s largest base, where the existing operational environment supports RAN ships, submarines and aircraft based in Western Australia.

The works comprise the construction of three extended Earth Covered Buildings, one standard Earth Covered Building and a new Non-Explosive Dangerous Goods Store, supported by hardstands, access roads, engineering services, security infrastructure and associated civil works. The project also includes UXO survey and clearance, environmental management, specialist security systems and integration with existing base infrastructure.
