The Adelaide Women’s Prison project involves the delivery of two independent living two-storey, 60 bed accommodation buildings as well as associated landscaping, recreation spaces, basketball courts and artwork to all buildings commissioned by a local Kaurna artist. The project will also deliver the upgrade of the existing electronic security system prison wide from analogue to digital technology. 

The new beds will be in a secure independent living environment, providing those in custody an opportunity to develop important skills for their release in a more rehabilitative environment and successfully transitioning into the community.
