The redevelopment of the Nightcliff Renal Unit was essential to bring the facility in line with current health guidelines and provide additional dialysis chairs and patient bays. Sitzler undertook the construction and redevelopment in three separable portions, creating three discrete stages. With operations and services required to run as normal throughout the construction period, all three stages were constructed in succession to maximise the available space and allow the clinical staff to continue delivering critical care with no operational disruption.
