Project Manager


We are seeking applicants for the position of
PROJECT MANAGER
for immediate commencement in our Darwin Office

SITZLER are a medium sized multi disciplined construction contractor that has been operating for more than 30 years and has projects spread throughout the NT and SA.

To take advantage of this opportunity you will have been a key component in the delivery of major building projects. A key consideration will be your drive and commitment to deliver projects to both meet our contractual obligations and to enhance relationships with clients and consultants. You will be conscientious, hard working and keen to accept and deliver challenging projects. You will be committed to a successful outcome ensuring a safe working environment and quality of work.

Attributes/Skills
  • Minimum of 10 years experience in the construction industry
  • Relevant tertiary building qualification or trade qualification essential
  • Experience on a variety of commercial building projects from structures to finishes
  • Sound understanding of Project Management principles
  • Ability to perform under pressure and to deadlines
  • Attention to detail and good time management skills
  • Strong communication, organisation and leadership skills
  • Negotiation and conflict resolution skills

Responsibilities
  • All construction related activities
  • Delivery of project ahead of time and within budget
  • Onsite supervision of the works including procurement of plant & resources, resource scheduling, programming of the works and coordination between overlapping work activities and site administration
  • Trade & Subcontractor coordination & liaison
  • Development of site personnel including apprentices
  • Coordination of plant & materials
  • Client liaison
  • Monitor & enforce compliance to OH&S and Environmental project requirements

Salary will be according to experience.
