Civil Foreman


We are seeking applicants for the position of
CIVIL FOREMAN
for immediate commencement in our Darwin Office

SITZLER are a medium sized multi disciplined construction contractor that has been operating for more than 30 years and has projects spread throughout the NT and SA.

To take advantage of this opportunity you will have been a key component in the delivery of major building/civil projects. You will be conscientious, hard working and keen to accept and deliver challenging projects. You will be committed to a successful outcome ensuring a safe working environment and quality of work.

Attributes/Skills
  • Minimum of 10 years experience in the civil construction industry
  • Civil construction qualification is desirable
  • Experience in self delivery of works would be a distinct advantage
  • Ability to perform under pressure and to deadlines
  • Attention to detail and good time management skills
  • Strong communication, organisation and leadership skills
  • White card

Responsibilities
  • Onsite supervision of the works including procurement of plant equipment & resources, resource scheduling, programming of the works and coordination between overlapping work activities and site administration
  • Monitor & enforce compliance to OH&S and Environmental project requirements
  • Coordination of subcontractors
  • Development of site personnel
