The $672 million Strategic Indigenous Housing and Infrastructure Program (SIHIP) was led by Sitzler Pty Ltd, Laing O’Rourke and McMahon Services and involved the construction of 517 new houses and six new sub-divisions with essential infrastructure such as roads, power, water and sewerage in six communities across the Territory, as well as 350 rebuilds and 450 refurbishments. Extensive civil work were completed in Alice Springs, almost retrofitting some town camps with new connections and realigned roads. At peak, Territory Alliance had more than 750 workers on sites, with 30 per cent of them local Aboriginal workers.

Village @ Parap sits on a 9,000 m2 site in the inner-city suburb of Parap, Darwin and includes 5 four storey buildings with 100 1, 2 and 3 bedroom apartments and secure underground basement car parking for 200 vehicles with centrally located ground level open urbane finished podium of approximately 1600m2. All apartments constructed achieved a NABERS rating of * 6 * or above.

The redevelopment of the Nightcliff Renal Unit was essential to bring the facility in line with current health guidelines and provide additional dialysis chairs and patient bays.
Sitzler undertook the construction and redevelopment in three separable portions, creating three discrete stages. With operations and services required to run as normal throughout the construction period, all three stages were constructed in succession to maximise the available space and allow the clinical staff to continue delivering critical care with no operational disruption.

The Royal Darwin Hospital PET & Second CT Scanner Facilities offer additional cancer care services for Territorians at the Royal Darwin Hospital, the first of its kind for the Northern Territory. The project scope comprised of demolition, concrete ground slab and suspended slab, blockwork internal partitions, glazing, internal fit out, medical gasses and new mechanical plant.

The Darwin Waterfront Wavepool has a water surface area of 4,260m2 and was constructed over a piled foundation system involving in excess of 120 piles on reclaimed land. Associated facilities include plantrooms containing wave generation equipment, pumps, filters and air-conditioning equipment as well as a substation and a separate amenities / kiosk building.

The Michael Long Learning and Leadership Centre has been designed to build future leaders in sport with training areas, gymnasium and an indoor swimming pool to help with recovery.
The centre includes all one-story buildings except for the gymnasium, which includes a suspended deck for education and office facilities. The centre also provides residential accommodation for children from remote communities.

The Burnside Swimming Pool facility includes a 50M and 25M pool and toddler pool. Upgrades included a complete replacement of pool supply and return water systems and construction of new pool plant room with updated plant to meet current standards and expectations.

The Alan Walker Cancer Care Centre Oncology Unit (AWCCC) at Royal Darwin Hospital (RDH) involved the refurbishment of the exiting chemotherapy chair area, a complete nurse call upgrade and upgrade to the existing medical gas services, electoral and mechanical services to facility the expansion.

TAFE Whyalla included conversions of redundant teaching areas to provide much needed facilities in the Nursing, Instrumentation, Electrical & Mining Training, Business Studies areas. The project provided Student Lounge, Library & Administration upgrades including the addition of a feature walkway & lift to link three 2 storey wings.

The Marrara Netball Project is a first-class facility for state and national competition within the Northern Territory. It includes ten netball courts, bar, canteen, office/administration and change room facilities for up to 140 players at any one time. As well as 170 car park spaces, a caretaker’s facility, and a dedicated storage building for netball equipment.
