John Quinlan, Manager Tracy Village Sports & Social Club
Sitzler was commissioned by Tracy Village to undertake a complete Design and Construct contract for the refurbishment and expansion of this community sports and recreation facility. Stage 1 of the redevelopment involved the design and refurbishment of the existing operational club lounge, bar area and kitchen facilities coupled with new smokers’ decks, a standalone café and an external function zone. To enhance accessibility and improve service a new service road was added to separate commercial delivery traffic from the general public traffic.
The entire contract was undertaken within and around the existing facility without interruption or major inconvenience to the ongoing club operations.
The design of Stage 1 has incorporated servicing and access provisions to allow for future stages of development without any effect on the completed Stage 1 refurbishment.
The end result is an expanded club facility with significantly increased operational efficiency. The new premises will better allow Tracy Village to adapt to the huge residential growth in the adjoining Lyons subdivision as well as configuring the facility to accommodate future growth in sports and recreational activities for the community.
